Call of Duty’s popular “The Haunting” Halloween event is returning for the upcoming spooky season, with a new trailer confirming Season 6 arrives in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone on September 18. The seasonal update will include Michael Myers as a Call of Duty operator and other spooky skins.Activision has released a new trailer to announce Season 6 and The Haunting, which reveals a spooky nighttime makeover for Warzone’s Rebirth Island map. Zombies also make an appearance, so the event will likely include some of Call of Duty’s Zombies-themed multiplayer modes like Hordepoint and Infected.

PS5 Controllers Are Now More Expensive
Sony is raising prices again, this time hiking the cost of standard PS5 DualSense controllers by $5. Effective now, the PS5 black and white standard DualSense controllers start at $75 (up from $70), while all the rest jumped from $75 to $80. The DualSense Edge is unaffected and still goes for $200.Sony made no official announcement about the DualSense price hike, but it seems to have gone into effect recently. Wario64 was among the first to spot the price increase, which is in effect at Sony’s own PlayStation Direct store and a variety of retailers, including Best Buy. Lego has officially revealed its line of Mario Kart sets, as six of the iconic racing machines are lining up for launch in 2025. These were first teased back in March, and the sets will include buildable versions of Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Baby Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, and Toad on their signature vehicles. Like other big Lego releases, there’s a mix of quick-build kits and more-elaborate sets, and in a cool nod to the games, the karts even feature working mechanisms that allow them to fire green and red koopa shells.The sets are also compatible with previously released Lego Super Mario figures, as Mario, Luigi, and Peach will play vehicular sound effects when they interact with these new kits.
